This directory contains files that add a catalog of nearby galaxies to
the Milky Way database for Partiview.

The configuration file mw2.cf is identical to the standard mw.cf with the
addition of a group for the galaxies.  The group is added as number 31, moving
the group for the solar system one higher.

The nbglxy files are derived from the Tully Catalog of Nearby Galaxies using
the file distributed by CDS as a starting point.  There are some differences
in the distances to the Local Group galaxies, and if both are on at the same 
time they may not overlap exactly.  Messier Object numbers have been added
to the Nearby Galaxy catalog to help with identification.
