The Zero Age Main Sequence is the reference stellar model for stars of solar
composition settled into hydrogen burning in their cores. The models are based
on the equations of stellar structure together with the
nuclear physics that determines energy production, and the atomic physics
that determines opacity and radiative energy transport.
Assume that all stars make energy in the same way and that they all have the
same composition. Therefore all stars are distinguished when they form only by
their mass
