Experimental Condensed Matter
We investigate magnetic materials with optical techniques. Specifically, we measure their magnetic properties over a range of temperatures with the magneto-optical Kerr Effect and utilize a high-power ultrashort-pulse laser to explore and control their dynamic response in extreme regimes.
