Who We Are
The HEP group at the University of Louisville is a small group of physicists
dedicated to research on the fundamental constituents of matter and their
interactions. The group is
a microcosm of the world-wide High Energy Physics Community, with members from
England, Russia, and the United States.

- Jason Newkirk. (Completed Honors Thesis - received Outstanding
Thesis Award!). - Recipient of
the University of Louisville Woodcock Medal, 2000. This is the _TOP_ award
given to a graduating senior! Congratulations, Jason! Received MS in Physics
from University of Michigan. Now actuary in Louisville.
- Suzanne Nichols. Nominated for 2003-4 Goldwater Scholarship. Received
SPS Leadership Scholarship, 2003. Received department's Bennett Award.
Currently in Physics Ph.D. program at Purdue.
- Jon Luc Paulin. Currently a world traveler.
- Chuck Pearsall. Became graduate student in our group. Now teaching
at the high school level.
- Will Robertson. (Was a DOE Undergraduate Fellow at Argonne National
Lab). Currently serving in the military.
- David Schroerlucke. (Did HEP summer research in Florida). Currently
in Math Ph.D. program at UofL.
- Jonathan Wilkerson. Currently in medical school at UofL on an incredible scholarship.
