UDALL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARS FROM U. LOUISVILLE

The Udall Foundation was established in 1992 by Congress, in honor of Sen. Morris Udall and Rep./Secretary of
the Interior Stewart Udall.  Its mission is to provide programs to promote leadership, education, collaboration and conflict resolution
in the areas of environment, public lands and natural resources in order to strengthen Native nations, assist federal agencies and
others to resolve environmental conflicts, and to encourage the continued use and appreciation of our nation's
rich resources.  In 2016, the Udall Foundation awarded scholarships of up to $7000 each to 60 sophomores and juniors from 49 colleges
and university.  They were selected from among 482 candidates at 227 institutions.  Another 51
students got honorable mentions.
Awards are made in the spring.  See  here for more information about Udall Scholarships.
